Hi there! I’m Samantha Whiting, LCSW.

I am a holistic, trauma-informed Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Chesterton, Indiana, offering telehealth therapy to clients throughout Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan.

Somewhere along the way, you stopped feeling like yourself.

Maybe your anxiety has intensified. You're more irritable than you've ever been. Your patience feels thinner, your sleep isn't what it used to be, and the brain fog makes you question yourself.

Maybe you've found yourself searching online late at night:

"Why do I feel like this?"

"Is this just stress?"

"Am I too young for perimenopause?"

If so, you're not alone.

Many women begin noticing subtle emotional, mental, and physical changes in their mid 30s and early 40s. Those changes can overlap with motherhood, demanding careers, relationship stress, trauma, burnout, thyroid conditions, and hormonal shifts, making it difficult to know what's really happening.

The good news? You don't have to figure it out before asking for help.

Together, we'll explore the whole picture with curiosity, compassion, and evidence-informed care so you can reconnect with yourself and move forward with greater confidence.

Maybe you have been wondering:

  • Why does everything suddenly feel harder?

  • Why is my anxiety worse than it's ever been?

  • Why am I snapping at the people I love?

  • Why am I exhausted even when I sleep?

  • Why can't I think as clearly anymore?

  • Why don't I feel like myself?

  • Is this just stress...

  • ...or could something else be going on?

  • Am I too young for perimenopause?

If you've asked yourself even one of these questions, you're in the right place.

Therapy doesn't have to begin after you've figured everything out. It can be the place where we begin asking the right questions together.

Here is what I want you to know:

  1. Every version of yourself is worthy of love.

  2. There is no shame in exploring who you are.

  3. You, as a human, are in an ongoing process of development.

  4. Change is a sign of growth and strength.

  5. You CAN live life that is self-honoring and courageous.

“In the beginning, therapy can feel a bit like cleaning a wound: tender, but you know it is necessary. However, once healing begins, you can appreciate how important it was to reflect on your life.”
